The Northern Kentucky International Trade Association (NKITA) Award of Excellence is a prestigious regional award recognizing companies who are successfully engaged in international trade. The award is open to members of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and/or businesses headquartered in Boone, Kenton or Campbell Counties who import or export from their operations in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati region.

The NKITA Award of Excellence will highlight a local business as a leader in international commerce.  The winner will be selected based upon on their generated revenue, developed global network and risk mitigation. An impartial panel of judges will review the completed applications and narrow the potential award candidates down to three finalists. The judges will conduct onsite visits to the finalists to determine the winner. Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. on Fri., June 19, 2009.

All three finalists will be recognized and the winner announced at the 2009 NKITA Annual Luncheon on Thurs., Aug. 27, 2009.  Along with the presentation of the award, the luncheon will include two keynote speakers, highlights of NKITA’s accomplishments over the past year and a look ahead into the future.
