Matthew has guided dozens of brands to actionable positioning, strategy and purpose; has led over 200 inventing and ideation sessions; and is a frequent and highly-rated speaker and guest at corporate events and conventions and on radio. Matthew authors "That Branding Thing," a column that appears regularly in the Business Courier of Cincinnati and other American City Business Journals publications nationwide.
Prior to founding Three Deuce, Matthew put Airheads candy on the map as marketing manager at Van Melle USA (also the marketer of Mentos). Matthew created and led the marketing plan that tripled total sales, gained national distribution, and earned the #1 sales position in the category - despite being outspent by competitors like Skittles and Starburst by more than 20 to 1.
