Education Solutions > Be a Mentor
The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Education Alliance of Northern Kentucky, a 501(c)3 organization, support area mentoring programs to help recruit members of the business community to make a change in the life of a young person. Too often children are waiting for mentor support and many of these children face daily barriers that impede their success in school.
Research shows mentoring works and helps children overcome situations that prevent them from learning. The relationships created from mentoring benefit BOTH the youngster and the mentor. Children in Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties are waiting for mentors to provide them with life and career experiences, opportunity and hope.
Consider making a difference in a young child's life.
With as little as one hour a week, you can impact the life of a young person by showing genuine interest and sharing yourself. Training and support are provided and as a mentor, serve as friend, advisor, cheerleader and confidante. Encourage a young person's success and help them plan for a bright future.
